How to know when a pomegranate is ripe (#5692)

"Look for deep red skin. The deeper the color, the more ripe the fruit. If it feels heavy, it's full of juice. Don't worry about rough skin; breaking skin is a good sign of ripeness. Wait for pomegranates to split on the tree, as this indicates peak ripeness."
