"VERY regional and situational. I've met warning signs that were only safe at three mph over!"
Jack Repenning, hacker, USA
"This is changes heavily with the type of vehicle you are driving (sports car/box truck/tanker trailer), what you have in said vehicle (loaded/top heavy/no load/shifting load) and the weather conditions (dry/wet/ice). If you are unfamiliar with the turn, use extreme caution! I drive for a living and can't tell you how many cars I see slide off ramps even in clear dry weather!"
Silvax, Wheel Man, USA
"What this user means is that you won't get a ticket until you drive 11 MPH over the speed limit. This is not technically true. DO NOT EXCEED the speed limit by more than 9 MPH. If the limit is 65MPH do not drive faster than 74MPH. You can be stopped if a police radar is set for 10 over. Very rarely will the radar gun be set to alert the officed for 9 over the limit. 10 over the limit is a violation in most states. "
Fred Endicott
"I think all 3 of these comments are correct which means that you are least likely to get a ticket at 3 over but can probably get away with 9 over most of the time but. . . it depends."
